This has to have been raised before so forgive me for starting a new thread on an old topic.
I want to acquire a pedal steel that can be played standing up. I do not like sitting down at work in front of a computer, let alone while playing music.
Since I don't want to give up use pedals, knee levers or the volume pedal I guess I'll have to lean back against something while standing. Still beats sitting in my book.
Does anyone know anyone who has had a similar setup? Or have any ideas as to where I might turn to get something like this put together?
Thanks for reading. |

Yes, I've thought of this before.....knee levers would be the real problem. To effectively operate the ABC pedals and volume pedal you would need to take the weight off of your feet, so maybe sitting on something similar to a bicycle seat. |

I thought Zane King was working with something like this with pedals etc. Can't think who might be building them, if they did. _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |

Standin at a pedal steel has been done since way back but as stated before, the knee levers are gonna be a real problem, I don't believe it can be done without some kind of stool or high chair but then your not really standin are ya. |

You could put a cage of four levers around the right wrist or maybe even try to cluster _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

You don't use levers, you use an entirely different pedal set-up i believe. Pedals do what levers would do maybe or simpler. _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |

Does anyone know if Jackson is actually marketing the stand-up 6 string pedal guitar? After watching Zane's video, I went to Jackson's website and there's nothing on there about them. |
