In her own words..."I havent had a hit in 10 years, Ive spent my fortune...I've been robbed, sued, beaten, jailed and forgotten"...I hope the world remembers her for what she accomplished in, not how she left, this life...RIP Mindy...

In 96' I was recording at Malloy boys studio in Nashville. Mindy was there working on her CD that gave us 10,000 Angels. She was such a sweet, personable, and humble young lady. She became good friends with my wife and she would fix me hot tea when my voice would start to give out after a long day of recording. Looking back, I can't imagine the turmoil and trouble this beautiful young lady has gone through. Please pray for her kids and family that are now left behind. She may have been misguided, but she was an Angel.

It makes me sad to hear about Mindy. She was beautiful once and she had one of those instantly recognizable voices. What a shame she couldn't manage to save herself.

Coping with and understanding mental illness is a difficult and daunting task.. I was married to a creative lady for 4 years who suffered deeply even with medication. I feel sadness for Mindy and hope she is finally at peace...

In recent years, the news reports gave indications that this was a story not apt to end well. May she rest in peace. Prayers and condolences going out to her children and the rest of her family.
