I'm trying to find some information on Blevins resonator guitars, located in the LA area.
A customer has one to trade but I can't find much information on the builder.
This particular guitar started out as a Crafters model think, judging by the fingerboard inlay. Mr. Blevins did some resonator work and also re-did the the keyhead overlay with his name inlaid there. I don't know exactly what else he may have done.
Are these guitars something that might be of good quality?

Mike Witcher played one several years ago. You might look him up and shoot him an email.

Thanks Dave. Supposedly this was a guitar that came from Mike. I sent a message to Mike to ask if he might remember anything about it. Heck, it might be a good one! |

As I recall, the one I saw Mike with was large and blue.

Yes, that is the guitar I was inquiring about.
George Blevins remembered it and said that it did sound good. Mike Witcher said the same.
I decided I really didn't have a use for it so maybe it can go to a good home. |
