Our ilustrius (did I spell that right ) leader Uncle Roy, Has been searching for ages to find
a leg for his battered old ShoBud ..... twood be an act of kindness if one of you guys could put him out of his misery .... He has looked after the Brit steelplayer for more years than any of us remember..
and stands as a beacon of encouragement to any potential steel player....
heres a link to his post...

If anyone has a leg that would fit an old LDG I would be happy to chip in towards the shipping... |

i believe that Sho Bud legs ( like many other brands) are nothing more than an American microphone stand turned up side down & perhaps shortened
so instead of having to buy 2 or 4 new legs, would a used mike stand without the base on ebay do the job ?
it's the male end that screws into the psg that needs to be added/soldered on to the upside down mic stand |

I believe most get pressed/swaged in, as they bulge where the threaded plug sits.
I lack a press that big _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

John, does it have to be a ShoBud leg?
I can do without a leg in my collection..If this will work send me the length (from base of threads to bottom of knurled nut on bottom).
If this works out, tell Uncle Roy this one's on me! _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars
