We did have a great jam session Sunday afternoon. We had 11 steel players and 5 in the band and an audience that was standing room only several times in the afternoon. We had the great Dale Thomas and our great steel player Roger Edgington who makes San Antonio home. We had Dave "Commander"Goodman, Mike Kowalik, Zack Walters, Mark Moseley, Stephen Cowell, Dean Schilling, Owen Barnes, and Mike Esther. I know I have left someone out so please forgive me for the misdeed.
Dale Thomas "WOWED" us with his playing and then he and Roger Edgington double "WOWED" us when they played together. We Thank them both for the pleasure of hearing them. I want to also "THANK" the band for the great work they do in backing the steel players. Ken Piper, Mark Moseley, Jim Blakey, Ben Price and Ryan Goeth who filled in for Brian Folks until his foot is healed. Our next jam session will be March 3, 2013 same place, same time.
Another "THANK YOU" to the American Legion Post #593 for the hall and the cooking and being great to all of us. |

It was very apparent you and Dale were having a great time but you didn't look around the room to see the smiles on so many faces...Thank you for being there and sharing your talent....jr |

Roger
"twining" is when we're balin'.
"twinning" is for doubling up.
Have to give ya a hard time... HA
It was great to see everyone again last Sunday!
Steel is alive and well around San Antonio.
Thanks to Joe for getting these events together.
