What kind of pickup is this? Is it a good one?

Looks like a Harmony guitar with a Gibson single coil pickup. A P13 I think.

I agree. The same pup was used on the Gibson EH-125.
Harmony used them on some other models as well.

Yes, it's a Harmony "Roy Smeck" with original PU. I've never played one of these, but I've noticed that they don't sell for much nowadays and they are not highly sought-after by players or collectors. It's a cool looking lap steel though.
