This Bud was my old guitar. 15 years ago. It looks the same as it did when I bought it, a few marks and dents but it played fine and has a that great Bud tone.

I moved to TN. to write songs because my foot could no longer hold the pedals down. And when I played, it hurt like ----.. After not playing steel for years I had an upcoming session on some songs I wrote. I bought this guitar for those sessions hopeing my foot would hold up. But it did not..I managed to cut 2 songs and gave up. I then sold the Bud. I did not play steel again for many years. One day at Bobbe's Steel shop in 2004 I sat down to just try out a green Emmons. To my surprise my foot worked fine and still doe's today. I bought the green Emmons that day. The Bud was a fine guitar.

I will post a tune I cut with this old Bud one day.

A good friend of mine, down here in Louisiana. played a Sho-Bud Professional, just like that one. Back in the late 70's early 80's. When I started to learn how to play.
It had a beautiful sound. I know that one must have the same sound.

I have been in correspondence with Chris Wangro for two weeks about the Bud. Supposedly we have a deal but Chris can't seem to find time to ship the guitar. I asked to see pictures of it because of the mark in one of the pictures and he said it wasn't at his house it was at another location and that it would be a while before he was there to ship it. i got a text yesterday and it read Marty I been up to my eyeballs in work and can't find time to ship but will soon I promise. Now I see it reposted and don't know what's going on. It's got me thinking

I'll check with Chris and see if he still has this guitar.
