David Kramer, a well known South African music promoter discovered Hannes Coetzee and produced the Karoo Blues musical concert.

Hannes Coetzee and David Kramer visited Port Townsend USA, in 2006 I think, where Hannes was invited to participate in teaching slide guitar at a Slide and Steel Guitar workshop.
David accompanied him as teacher, performer and translator!
