Has anyone come up with any cool new rock licks on E9th steel? I mean other than the Joe Wright stuff.

| Go to Joe Wright's web site. He has some good info for E9 R&R. I play a lot of my R&R on E9 from the BC Pedal position & if I remember correctly, Joe explains his concept of E9 R&R from the BC pedal position as well. Regards & good luck. Steve |

Also, if you raise #7 , F#-G, with A&B gives a cool lick on strings 6_7_8. PLAY 8,6,8,7,6.

Mike Selecky did a great job tabbing out a song Martina McBride did and Paul Franklin played on , "Life Number Nine". You can learn a lot about rock on pedal steel by listening to and studying the tab for this piece> The tab link is:

| Doug Beaumier put out an excellent rock steel course a while back - check with him to see if he still stocks it. Lots of neat riffs. Tab & cassette (now I'm dating myself). |
