Danny Leigh on Tru Country

Danny Leigh was on Tru Country this morning and in her last song I saw the pedal steel player damp strings with his 4th and 5th fingertips. Just wondering how many of you all do that?

I suppose you're talking about blocking. Steve Palousek...who is faster than lightning ...blocks with the tip of the ring finger. It is fascinating to watch and very effective...apparently.

I can't do it at all...but Steve learned that way early on and has it down to a science.
