A very rare find. A 12-neck Stringmaster in unused condition. Evidently it was special-ordered but the buyer never completed the arm-stretching exercises required, so he stored it under his bed. |

Noice! he said in his local VT accent.
I had one of those.
The first neck is the only one played with a bar. All the rest just put out sympathetic overtones.
I wrote a great instrumental for it specifically, titled "Cacophony".
Alternately - All the necks are on the same level so if you want you can tune them all for a very extended chord and play it with a six foot long bar. Playing slants in tune is challenging though. I've heard Jerry Byrd could do it though. |

George,
I notice that one of the necks is set up for a left handed player. Or maybe he stands on the other side of the guitar! |

That would complement my 18 pedal Emmons nicely.

With a string length that long you need extra pedals. You certainly can't do many slants except high up the fingerboard. |

From the photograph, it doesn't look to me like Duke Ching could reach the far neck. |

beltbuckle is the word I think you were looking for, Jeff.
Being European this is not a style I'm familiar with. I hear that its good for strumming but the technique required to play harmonics really requires dextrous use of ones _________________ \paul
