Great job on the Bobby Bare classic. Would you care to share with us your recording process, what you used, etc... ?

Thanks again guys.
Rick, I recorded this at a friend's home studio. Attached garage converted into studio/rehearsal space. ProTools set-up. Played my G & L ASAT thru a 40 watt one off guitar amp I bought a few years back from Forum member Mike Goldring, with the bass and drums on the basic tracks. On this cut I was able to keep the original guitar part from the basic track. Overdubbed acoustic rhythm with a Huss and Dalton DM, then my Sho~Bud S10 played thru a Fender Vibrosonic. SM 57's for amp mics. acoustic and vocals thru a Neuman condenser.
If you listen to Funny How Time Slips Away it was done pretty much the same way except played a Mullen D10 (C6 neck) thru a GK B 200 into a Sica 15" speaker and overdubbed the lead guitar fills and solo.Did keep the basic track elec. part on that one, too.
Hope to get this project finished up soon. 14 tracks all recorded, just got to get thru the tedious chore of mixing. _________________ www.facebook.com/countrydaveharmonson |

One of my favorites and a great arrangement of it. Nice timing of the entrance and exit of the background vocals. |

Dave that was nice work! You actually rivaled Charley Pride on the Panther Hall album.
Your steel was laying just nicely in the background. Overall a nice song! _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars
