The title say's it al..

Is guitar rig the future? If you take a look @ rolands gp 100 , there's nothing that guitar rig can't do..

So what to do.. Buy a roland or carry my laptop with external soundcard with me when i go to a gig?

Are there any players out there actually using guitar rig already?

enlighten me please Razz

I have been using a Roland GP100 for several years. It's a very nice processor with an almost unlimited variety of sounds available.

I agree as well that the Roland GP-100 is one the best preamp/effects units ever made!
