I've been working on this Emmons for quite some time and put many hours into restoring it. I stripped it down completely and changed the rosewood mica to matte black. All parts have been cleaned and polished, a newer model Emmons S/C pickup at 19.7K installed, new legs from Don Burrows, and flocked the underside. Emmons setup with E's on the left. Asking $2150 shipped in the lower 48.
Here is a link showing before & after restoration.
Thanks,
Dave

Mike & Karen, thanks for the kind words! These really are great sounding steels. I recently bought a 14 string Sierra that I am going to try a split tuning on which is why I'm selling the Emmons.
Paul, you are correct on the labor my friend. I started keeping track of the hours I was spending on the guitar but quit after realizing I would average like $1 an hour for labor at my asking price. I had a great time though working on this old classic!

I recently bought a restored Sho-Bud from David. Looks great....plays great. The tone is incredible. I could not be happier. I can personally attest to the quality of work that Dave does. Plus, he is a great guy to deal with. Bump for Dave!!!

Jim I did set it up Emmons as I will start playing in the house for the present time. Fantastic sounding steel as only an Emmons PP can sound! I have the E's on the left, whole tone raise on the 1st string with RKL, half/whole lower on string 2 with a half tone lower on 9th on the RKR. I can still change with existing parts if/when it's sold.

This is a spectacular deal on a good sounding push-pull. David has a lot of work in this guitar and he has more time and money in it than this price.
