Anyone know anything about this one?

I have had this steel since 1960 - never been able to find who actually made them. The brand "Schumer" used to be on a variety of music products in Oz not just instruments. Still plays OK - very strong sharp pup on it. Has integral case - all early vynil covered.
Probably made late 1950's.
