Some of these have been seen before... thought I'd share them again. Jim Stahlhut on guitar, Kyle Honeycutt on drums and Bob DeBoo on upright bass.

Oh crap! That's the first time I have heard Buck play.

I love to hear a player that can play through the changes and you can actually hear the chords changes in his solo.

That was great Buck!

Jim... I hope you and your new CD are doing well. You played great and it's fantastic!

Sid... though we've never met I remember seeing you and Paul in Nashville in the early 80's when I first came to town. I became an instant fan and still am. Thank you for your kind comments.

Hey Buck, great playing. I remember this very well. You knocked the audience out with your picking.

When ya coming near Atlanta?

That playing is as good as it gets. No wonder Lloyd thinks so very highly of your ability Buck.

Thank you Bill... not sure when I'll be near Atlanta. I hear there's a Steel show down there and it's a good one! Who knows... maybe I'll be invited. Smile

Ken... you've been so kind and supportive. I think the world of Lloyd and it sure does me good to hear you say those things. Hope you are well my friend!

Buck is one of a very select handful of the very top players. He plays with intelligence allied with thorough musicality - no wonder Jimmie was so proud of him!!!

This is a happy coincidence - I just played 'A Work In Progress' yesterday; I can't get enough of your playing, my friend.

Have to agree Roger. The rhythm section on these YT clips is quite special, and as a combo the 4 guys are very, very tight. The clips show Buck's prowess on C6, but his E9 playing is just as awesome.

I've said it so many times on here. A Work In Progress is jaw droppingly incredible. Buck has a phenomenal right hand technique, but his bar control is equally as good. The whole album is an amazing project, and if Buck does nothing else in his life it will be a legacy that will last several lifetimes. The difficult part for Buck is how to match it or top it if and when he releases another album. Very Happy
