REECE - I need some help regarding the finish on my '76 D10 MSA. There is a crack in the chocolate brown body at the pull end of the guitar. It is between the two necks right at the endplate and may be all the way through the wood body to the subplate. The crack is about .035 wide and an inch long when the guitar is cold. It gets a little better after it warms up. Is there any kind of black or brown epoxy or some kind of filler I could use to fix this? The instrument has never been abused or dropped.

Your help would be greatly appreciated because she's beautiful otherwise!

Thanks - Roger

Roger.....First of all I want to thank you for owning an MSA.

Kyle Bennett, one of the owners of the new MSA, put the natural finish on your MSA guitar many years ago, and he is a master at wood finishing.

I will bring your question to his attention and I'm sure you will be hearing from him. Please have a little patience, his father is in the hospital, and has been for the past 58 days.

Reece...thanks so much for writing and no problem with waiting for Mr. Bennett...he doesn't know me from Adam as they say, but I empathize with him. Been there too...
