Mickey,
we are lucky to have Ronnie in the Dallas area; we get a chance to hear him at the Dallas convention.
If you haven't got a chance to meet him, then try it if you come to Dallas and you will meet a pleasant guy to talk with and a great steel player.
I am lucky to call him friend and you will see what I'm talking about if you make it to the convention.

I met Ronnie on a cruise in the late '90's. He and his wife were both very warm and pleasant folks. We run into each other at shows now and then and Ronnie is always a super nice guy. His playing is as smooth and enjoyable as any. He's one of the greats.

Thanks Tommy and Ben...I've managed to get his e'mail address from a friend of mine in UK, who knows him well. Apparently he visits London about three times a year with his wife "Ginger" I've e'mailed him that perhaps on one of his visits we can meet up. I'm very near to London, about 15 miles Smile

Ron's set with Charlie's band was my favorite of the whole convention. I also got to see him jamming with Mike Sigler in the GFI room. Both great players.
