Selling this for a friend and this is in incredible original shape. I would say late "73-early"74 > as it would be first run of nylon tuning Shobud LDG... > round front big body; but diamond inlay. That pickup is an original Bill Lawrence (highly sought after) 705...just a PERFECT humbucking pickup for a Shobud; I've ever heard.
I will set this baby up any 3-pedal 4-knee lever Copedent you want and ship it to your door in the United States for $2500.00.
If you feel froggy; ya better jump...cause won't last long....yee haa.

I do not remember a roundfront LDG coming up for sale in a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time. I'm amazed to see such a fine speciman even come up for sale. Besides being that CHEAP for what it is including shipping, AND tweeked by master shobud mechanic/artist Ricky Davis???? WOW!! Come on ya'll, if you EVER had aspirations of owning THE most sought after Shobud model, get your X-mas money out and own it while you can and take advantage of this opportunity. Might be another year before another comes up f/s--if at all and in such great shape.

Sorry about the pics being a little blury and the light isn't showing this almost MINT Round Front Sho~bud LDG.
I'll get some snaps with my camera Monday; if it hasn't sold by then...but believe me when I say; I've not seen a big body round front LDG in this great of original shape in a long time. Case is perfect...and this LDG is as quiet as it gets in perfect playing condition and go straight into the studio with this ORIGINAL Bill Lawerence 705(not the "re-make") humbucker..that you can search all day on the internet and you won't find one for sale(or for cheap at all..ah..ha)
