I have a pair of the MSA aluminum stepped bars that hold the tuning machines and attach to the body. There are two holes on the bottom of each. Does anybody know what screw size these are supposed to be? The closest I have are 8-32, they're definitely not 10-24 or 10-32. But if they're 8-32's, they're stripped pretty badly. |

David,
I just went out and checked a set that I have in the shop and they are indeed a #10-32 thread.
Just gently run a tap into them to clean up the threads and they should be good. _________________ "Don't fergit to kiss yer horse!"

Michael is right, I have two sets of keyheads in my shop and they have #10-32 threads. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |
