I have a pair of the MSA aluminum stepped bars that hold the tuning machines and attach to the body. There are two holes on the bottom of each. Does anybody know what screw size these are supposed to be? The closest I have are 8-32, they're definitely not 10-24 or 10-32. But if they're 8-32's, they're stripped pretty badly.

David,
If they are stripped, I would drill them out and re - tap with 10-32 thread

David,

I just went out and checked a set that I have in the shop and they are indeed a #10-32 thread.

Just gently run a tap into them to clean up the threads and they should be good.

Michael is right, I have two sets of keyheads in my shop and they have #10-32 threads.
