I just recorded this in my little studio at home. Thought some one might enjoy it.I used a sound track but the vocals and Steel is me. I think I'm getting worse at Steel instead of better.

Bill I think your slowed down interpretation (compared to Lacy J. Dalton's) gives this song a new meaning, at least for me. Thanks!

I like it.
Funny how everyone is relating it to different artist. I always think of it as a Waylon & Jessi song, maybe since she wrote it and they had the first hit on it.

Alvin, me to. I never knew anyone else ever cut that song. Maybe I just never listened to any other version but Jessie's. She put so much heart into it.
I don't know if anyone ever noticed but there are no two words that rhyme in this song.
Anyway thanks everyone for your feedback. I need to polish it up a little before I put it on my new CD.
