I have a 400 Limited that has some problems. I am wondering where to bring it. Grandmas music wants $30 when brought in and $60 an hour. Not sure what Peavey charges but maybe they will fix cause they know the better. Then there is the cost of shipping. Not sure best way to go. Anybody offer an opinion.

In July of 2012 Peavey's labor rate was $55 per hour. I have had real good experiences with the Peavey repair facility in Mississippi. They always seem to fix the problems quickly, as their bills are never excessive. They usually only charge for about an hour of labor. And their return shipping expenses are moderate; better than what UPS or Fed-Ex charge me to ship to them.

They also stand behind their work. I received a repaired head back in August and it went bad again within a matter of weeks. In October I contacted them and they sent me a shipping label and paid the shipping both ways and fixed the problem; no expense to me.

Peavey is a very good company.
