I was in Brattleboro, Vermont, yesterday and went into a shop and started talking music and steel guitars. The person in the shop said that the person in the shop next door knew of a guy who played steel.
I wasn't there long and in walks, Rick Contino, dripping with steel grease.
Although we didn't break out the steels, I must say we had a ball talking.
Rick is very knowledgable about steels and he said he frequents the forum. (I'm not sure he's a member). _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Thanks for the kind words, Chris. It was likewise great to run into you yesterday. These things are all too few and far between in this neck of the woods. _________________ Shobud "The Professional" D-10, Stage One S-10, National "New Yorker," NV400 |
