Crowbear, great stuff! Can you play that on the steel? Haha! I love latin jazz/salsa, and have always preferred a good precussionist (or 3 or more, in this case!) to just a standard trap drum player. There is an aspect of Latin music where no matter how much energy the song creates, how fast it is played, the performers and dancers still maintain their calm and composure... suave!

It was a Brazilian song - Pepeu Gomez's Sexy Yemanja which made me realize that pedal steel had lots of potential outside just country and country/rock. No reason it could not also find a place in Latin music!

Even Barbara Walters would sound good with all those fine musicians behind her! Laughing
