This rack mount Stewart power amp is commonly used in pedal steel guitar applications for stereo or mono application.

For use with pedal steel it normally operates in conjunction with a pre-amp and one or two speaker cabinets.

It can also be used in PA sound reinforcement.

It is in very good working order. I have never had a problem with it.

It produces sound which is smooth and uncolored, while offering a full detailed low end response with lots of power.

It weighs 11 pounds.

It has a few minor scracthes on the top, consistent with age.

This a great amp for a rack mount system. Just add a pre-amp and speaker(s) and you are set to go. Lots of clean power in a light weight package.

I used it for years in my stage set up and never had a problem with it. I have another one and since I play mostly at home these days I can let one of them go. It was a toss up between the two.

I owned a Peavey DPC 750 and a Mosvalve 500, to my ears the Stewart 1.2 sounded the best.
