Hi folks, I try to do a Christmas music video every year and I managed to get this one finished last night. My son Dan joins me once again on the bass with some fine picking and bowing. I should mention that the last B parts were loosely inspired by the Emmons recording from the black album. Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings!

Love all your tunes Greg. I've been trying to steal some licks from your 'Folsom Prison' now that my band has been playing it. |

Fine job Greg and folks. Beautiful Christmas Card. Thanks for sharing.
One of my very favorite tunes to play on resonator. I'll be trying to steal some ideas from you too. |

Just about the time I get discouraged by all the repeated discussions here on SGF about this and that,
someone like you comes along, with talent, style and technique not routinely heard among steel guitarists.
THANKS so very much.......for sharing this beautiful gem with the rest of us. Perhaps you'll do more of this? |

Saw this on RN, Greg. It's truly touching, which is what music should do. Fantastic playing, arrangement, video and especially the audio quality. It inspires me to keep after it!

Have to echo everyone's comments: great production, listened to it 10 straight times, how wonderful to play with your son & have the family around, etc.
May as well throw my dobro into that fireplace! Merry Christmas and thanks from Chicago. |
