Just got done modeling this one in 3D. I took measurements of my H4. Going to do a Stringmaster next.

Russ, I had one just like that only it was gold.
Parents got it for me out of Sears Catalogue in
1953. Guitar was damaged and went in the garbage
(which I regret to admit).
Thanks for the memories.

Hi Brad,
I just used standard AutoCAD. AutoCAD 13 has some good rendering materials that can be applied. Surface modeling in AutoCAD is still in infancy. I simple drew this one in solid 3D and then rendered. _________________ 1958 D8 Stringmaster, 1958 T8 Stringmaster, 1955 Q8 Stringmaster (in basket), 1949 Gibson BR9, 1953 Silvertone, 1957 Harmony H4 (yeah the cool black pearloid one), 1947 National Princess, 1969 Shobud S10 3X1 |

Russ - I'm sure many of the forum followers would love to see a stringmaster model.
It would be really cool if you could create a dimensioned drawing of the body from it. - Ed |

Thank all for the kind words. I just started the string master drawing(s). I'll post a new thread when I have something tangible... _________________ 1958 D8 Stringmaster, 1958 T8 Stringmaster, 1955 Q8 Stringmaster (in basket), 1949 Gibson BR9, 1953 Silvertone, 1957 Harmony H4 (yeah the cool black pearloid one), 1947 National Princess, 1969 Shobud S10 3X1 |

I just got a carcass of one of those off eBay. Before and after. Still need to make a bridge cover.

Very Cool !! I thought it was SketchUp but AC13 is awesome.
My CNC can Hog those out All day long. It just takes money and stir.
