Wow that was quick!
Interesting.
They alluded to Jerry Kennedy playing "fretted Dobro" which I take to mean played spanish style with no bar.
There is a nice vid of Jeannie (weareing a more demure floor length dress) doing a rewrite of the harper valley melody that has a guy playing the dobro in the spanish style but the guy (on what appears to be the Wilburn Brothers clip I initially provided is playing it like a steel. Just wondering who he might be _________________ whut we've got here is failyuh to c'mmunicate... |
