I will be in San Jose this week for work. Are there any steeler's playing this week that I could check out, or even any live country music period?

Cheers,
Andy

Not a lot. Thursday night, you can find Steve French at the 3 Flames on Meridian in San Jose.

Wow. I'm sure Richard can remember back to the days when there would be at least a half dozen steelers working on a Thursday night and probably a dozen on the weekend, just in the greater San Jose area (in the '70s). It used to be one of the more fertile gig areas in the country. Now it seems like only Texas and Nashville have happening scenes for country.

Is there no chance for a revival gig, at least once or twice in a year? Just a thought.

What a great place to live back in those days. I had the great pleasure to be in bands with and play with most of the great South Bay Steelers including Bobby, Joe, Barry and most of the others. Thanks to all ...

Do any of you remember Clyde Hayes around the San Jose Area?
