You will never deal with a more standup gentleman
than Ernest Cawby. I know he has his reasons for wanting to unload his equipment .....something some of us will have to face sooner or later. |

Eddy,
I just got off the phone with Ernie. He's having internet issues so he should be online on Mon. and hopefully get some close ups of the changer.
EDIT: Information corrected by Frank.
Ernie tells me there is not a mark on it.

Erie`s, (Williams guitar)
Am Frank
Erie bought this from me its a 2001 D10 Keyless 400 series Williams. I never hide it from my wife, Cheryl my wife, had stage 4 Cancer, and i felt bad, guilty and at that time aprrox. 2003/2004??, thats when i sold it to Ern. God Bless Erie and his family and whatever there going threw, i`ve tried to find out, no reply, But God Know everthing and Prayer is the answer. Its a fine piece of work by Bill at Williams, he work with me for along time till he got the color i wanted that was lock up in my head. He sent colored chips of birdeye till he got the color. i think the pictures are a little lighter then what the color is, it was darker and the grind showed throught beautiful,>>Again at this time I would personnally like to thanks all you Steel friends for your prayers when My cheryl lost a hard long battle with a brain tumor in March 9th 2010. I feel with all my heart she was trying to hold on till 13th of March 2010 which would of been our 43 anny. Some people think of money over a friend intime of need, it happen to me over a steel. Above all the things amp/effects/seats/steels, ect. really what good is it when something like this happens??Pray for Erie and his Family thanks frank
its coming up 3 yrs for me and its still like yesterday.God Bless ya all have a Wonderful CHRISTmas sorry for the long post |

Bump for Offers??
I don't have a dog in this hunt, just trying to help out Ernie. I believe his family is having a bit of a rough patch.
I'm sure his name is a decal and comes off, but you can ask Ernie about that. |

My D-10 Williams, 8x7, keyless, weighs 51 lbs in the case. I used the very high tech method of placing it on a bathroom scale. Your result may vary |

I have basically the same guitar a c1987 model pickups wound by Bill himself. Mines 8x8 a bit tempermental in temp fluxuations but with easy smooth pedal operation. Keep it lubed and change tuning pegs ...Never breaks a string.i break mine down twice a week to play out...simple assembly...overall a great guitar! _________________ Williams D10 8&8 1988 maple burl

Under more careful observation this may be newer than mine. I just have the mini toggle by the input and single coil pickups that Bill did wind...sorry! _________________ Williams D10 8&8 1988 maple burl
