A little over a week ago, my computer switched from MSNs HOTMAIL to OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
I didn't ask for it and can't get rid of it.
Does anyone know? Does M/Soft do this without a consumer's authorization? I can no longer get HOTMAIL........ |

Your Hotmail did NOT switch to Outlook "EXPRESS." It HAS changed to the new webmail interface known as Microsoft Outlook. It mimics the desktop Outlook email client used by most businesses.
Outlook Express was an email client for home users, but was deprecated several years ago, with the advnet of Windows Vista. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

I just checked mine (Hotmail or Windows Live, whatever they call it) for the first time in a month or so. There was a button that said "Upgrade to Outlook.com" so I clicked on it and got Outlook. I'm so excited. _________________ C#

Outlook Express is obsolete. I had to convert the Mrs to Windows Live Mail (or whatever it's called in Windows 7) when she got a new computer last year. Outlook Express doesn't run on Windows 7.
