Here is a lap steel arrangement I worked up this morning. Got to love the old Hank Williams tunes. I'm looking forward to doing this song as a duet with Scotty (of St. Louis Fame) at the SWSGA show in Phoenix. I even added some Scotty/ Jerry Byrd harmonics.

Thanks, guys. Glad that you like the arrangement. There's a lot of music to be found on just six strings.

Thanks, Howard and Mike. I've played this tune many times on the pedal steel, but the lap steel definitely makes me approach the melody differently. Hope to see you both at a show down the road.

Incredible! What steel were you using? Were you using a volume pedal or just using the knob on the steel? Inquiring mimes want to know!

Thanks guys. Steve, I'm using an old Ricky Frypan and a Hilton volume pedal. Glad you like the arrangement.
