Anyone know where to get a book called "Western Swing by the Numbers" (or similar), a fake book of sorts?
Google search yields nothing.
Thanks
Jim

Hey Jim,
I think the man you're looking for is Dick Gimble, Johnny Gimble's son. His website is www.dickgimble.com and he offers several western swing chord chart books using the Nashville numbering system.

Those are not instruction books, just to avoid any confusion - nor do they contain any tab. Those are fake books with Nashville number charts players often use on the bandstand for tunes they don't know the changes to.
These are well praised charts and helpful but are not like standard tune books with melody lines and lyrics.
