Hello to all and hope everyone has had a nice Thanksgiving. I have a Behringer rack mount effex processor and a Behringer rack mount tuner an Ernie Ball vol ped in and out only all going through a Fender Deville amp. How Do They all link together. Any diagrams would be very helpful. I hope the equipment is not bad. As always thank you in advance. Chuck

Try the process of elimination. This is how I would approach it.

1. First go from your guitar straight to the amp. If it works, go to step 2.

2. Add one rack unit (effects). If it works, add the tuner. If it works, go to step 3. If not, check to make sure there is not a mute switch activated.

3. Now run the stuff through the volume pedal.

This should verify that all units are working, or which one is not. Also make sure every cord is good.

Chuck,
You have probably tried this already, but here is a possible scenario for hooking up:
Guitar…out to in of volume pedal…out of volume pedal to in jack (or return) of effex processor, …out (or send) of effex to in(return) of tuner, out (send) of tuner…to amp
As Richard pointed out, see if there is a mute switch on your tuner

What Dennis said, only you may find that the tuner works better BEFORE the effects processor, as any modulated effects will detune the signal and generate confusion for the tuner.

So...

STEEL GUITAR > VOLUME PEDAL > TUNER > EFFECTS > AMP

If the tuner doesn't throw in the R2D2 effects, I'd put it before the volume pedal.
The last several weeks, I've gone to the simplest you can get. Guitar, volume pedal, amp.
My tuner is in my phone, I unplug guitar From volume pedal to tune

To avoid confusion, the terms SEND and RETURN are used on an effects LOOP of an amp (or PA). SEND is equivalent of OUTPUT, since it is sending a signal out of the jack. RETURN is the equivalent of INPUT, since the effect signal is being returned into the signal flow at this jack. Rack effects are generally only labeled INPUT(s) and OUTPUT(s). The input jack of an effect is connected to the SEND jack from the loop and the output jack of the effect is connected to the RETURN of the loop.

If there is no loop, the instrument connects to effect input and effect out goes to amp in.
