Reading a topic from Dave Seddon, he once owned a Denley PSG. I have owned one for years, which I have converted to 10 string padded rear neck. The tone of this guitar never fails to surprise me, it's right up there with the Emmons PP. (probably because it is a bolt on push pull). It would be interesting to see if there are any other owners/former owners, and what their opinions are on this British steel.

Hi Richard,
Nigel Dennis and Gordon Huntley made me a DENLEY in 1966, it was a D-10 8x6 and I had it for week.I found that it's stability regarding returning to pitch left much to be desired.
Compared to the two 1970 Emmons D-10's that I have the Denley was a "Non Runner" IMHO.

Basil,
When I converted mine from a double 8 to a single 10, I made a few modifications which solved any tuning problems, and made it as stable as any steel on the market today.

I was talking with Albert Lee at an Everly's sound-check in Biloxi - he confessed to me that, many years ealier, he'd owned a Denley steel. I hadn't known this before and, naturally, I asked him how he'd got on with PSG.

Albert just nodded towards Buddy Emmons who was warming up at 'stage left' and said, 'After hearing that, I decided to stick with guitar....'
