I was hoping to hear Al Schmidt talk about they overdubbed strings on that album. It's quite a story in itself. I remember reading it in a recording magazine at the time. I seems they wound up flying the master tape to Vienna to record the Muzak orchestra which, believe it or not, was very highly regarded at the time. Unfortunately, the large studio they needed was not available so they ended up in a small cramped space with all these string players poking each other with their bows. It was a pretty cool story.
