Hi there,

I need two drop spring brackets for my Emmons D10 p/p. The ones I have are unserviceable.

You know the ones, right? L-shaped brackets screwed into the underside of the body; return spring rods run through one set of holes; lower rods run through the other set.

Not being a machinist, I'm not confident in fabricating them, so if you have a pair or know where I can get them I'd appreciate it.

Thanks a ton,

Are they unserviceable because the threads are stripped? or are the newer style with the plain holes?

If it is an early push pull, I may have a pair that works. The threaded holes are excellent.

Hello Chris,

I spoke with Bruce on the telephone last weekend and I think he's got things resolved by now. His guitar is a later model with 1/4" holes in the brackets.
