Buddy has done some guest appearances on Buckaroo records. I think this one sounds indeed more like BE than Tom Brumley.
Have you ever heard BE playing on Buck's song I'll be waiting???

Don't think it is TB. He left the Buckaroos in '69. Buddy is a good guess I would think, but could it be Jay Dee as he was playing in the Buckaroos at this time?

I'm pretty sure it's post Tom Brumley who left in '68 I believe. It sounds more like Emmons than JayDee, who left in late '69, to me.

That's Buddy for sure, with Doyle Holly singing. He's also playing on a few other tracks on the album; the session was on 12-17-69 according to the discography in the recent Buck biography.
Emmons also played a session for Buck's Kansas City Song album a few months later and on a few Owens and Susan Raye duets, as well as the earlier "Cajun Steel Guitar" with the Buckaroos. |

This sounds like Tom Brumley on "Cinderella" from Buck's "Our Old Mansion" in 1977. What say ye?

From this Buckaroos - Rompin'& Stompin' album "Cinderella", "I'll be allright tomorrow" (Doyle Holly) and "Hurry, come running back to me" (Doyle Singer) are with Buddy Emmons. Recorded 12-17-1969.
The other Buckaroos album with BE "Boot Hill" is recorded 05-12-1970.
The recordings for Buck Owens (album Kansas City Song) and Buck Owens & Susan Raye (albums We're Gonna Get Together and Great White Horse) with BE are recorded in december 1969 till may 1970.
"I'll still be waiting for you" just one Buck Owens song with BE (single) is recorded 12-23-1971.
