Anybody using the line out on a Cube80XL experiencing low levels? The record/headphone line is good but the line out is very low. |

The "line out" send level is directly related to the volume control on the amp.
"Adjust the output level using the [VOLUME] knobs for the JC CLEAN and LEAD channels and the SOLO function.
* The sound from AUX IN is not output from LINE OUT." |

Thanks Kevin,
I know from the manual about the volume settings. The problem is on the JC clean setting with the volume between 12 and 1 o'clock the stage sound is fine but there is not enough signal going to the desk.
Maybe there is a fault in the amp. |

Hi Allan, I still go the old fashioned way with a short Mic stand and use my SM57 Mic .... Guess sometimes I don't trust the man on the desk with the line out. At least with the Mic, I can occasionally tap it to be sure I'm on, plus that way has always been the way for good sound engineers

Thanks Micky,
I think I'll do that. I have a SM57 and a Mic Clamp. Will try it at the next gig. |
