There's a guy selling one National Dobro, a good expensive one, but is round neck , im confused about the difference , he is a Knopler and Clapton style guitarist, bottleneck and regular position without the slide. so , if i buy it can y play it in lap style like Mike Auldridge or you know ... is possible to put the strings high and so ? Thank you very much and regrads to everybody

...note the extra piece underneath the nut, lifting the strings. This piece used to be included with the guitar and is called an 'extension nut'.

Great Stephen ! I heard about this but is the first time I see one , and Jerry ... he could play with a Tennis raquet and still sound increideble ... Scotty sent me the bar size Jerry used to have, do think is the same plying acoustic and electric ? i guess is he same
