gaylon..is that you playing? very nice. i love this song. it's the one that gave gretchen credibility for me.
ending the song at the open fret e to a proves your steel is in tune!!
when i first heard the cut on the album i thought it was john hughey..it's that pretty. then saw credits for russ pahl....is that right?
great job...that would be the song that got me through every performance. |

I've said it before - Gretchen is one of the top Country singers in this day and age.
Gaylon, your playing is flawless, superb and so very balanced to the singer. The Rains sounds wonderful. I suspect you could make any pedal steel sound wonderful... _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Very nice!
What is that pedalboard that you are using. Does it clip to the leg of the steel? I'd love to get something like that.

Thanks for the kind words everybody!
@Chris, Yes that is me.
@Dave, It's a tray that I asked the guys at Qwikstix to build for me. Here's the link:

It's just a Peterson Strobo Stomp tuner and a Boss DD-6 Delay that I ran into the Fender Steel King. _________________ Gaylon's Homepage
