I'm looking for a Knob Protector for a Peavey NV 112.
Anybody got a spare?
Email please.
Regards,
Murray. |

Hi Murray, you can make one yourself very cheap and easy.
Just go to the hardware store and pick up a piece of 3/4"
aluminum angle like they use on stair steps. Just cut to the
proper length and install it 1/2" under both of the corners.
That's what I've always done to Nashville 112 and the 1000's. _________________ aka "Lucky Kay"--Custom built Rittenberry SD10 3X5, Walker S/S, NV-112, and Hilton Pedal |

Many thanks Carl. I've got a good hardware shop within walking distance! I'll give it a try.

Murray. |

Hi Murray, I just made one using a 1/2x3/4x1/2 channel.
Here are some pictures. You'll have to cut both ends so it
will fit under the metal corner pieces. It's a bit more work
than the 3/4" angel, but I think it's more durable.....Carl

Many thanks Carl, the job's done!
I just used a piece of angle, 20mm x 12mm and rebated the ends, and screwed it up under the top of the cabinet.
It works and looks OK.
Regards,
Murray. |
