Dunno about 'winding it on' - the whole piece is sheer perfection. Dawn Sears is just about the best-ever singer in this genre and the space that's left everywhere is an object lesson to all who over-play!
There's no need to despair the state of country music while this band of musicians remain active.

I agree roger, i played the whole song a 100 times, but i did rewind the steel solo a few more!
Yeah, left hand is closer, but right hand grip is shown from the correct camera angle vs from the right side!
Classic Country, the real stuff done with Class!
