Anyone play outta one of these? There's one for sale for 150 at a local thrift store and it could be a good cheap 100 watts w/built in reverb

Isn't it a tube preamp and solid state 100 watt amp? Lightweight and big sound. Regardless, $150 for 100 watts w/reverb is a great deal. Dean Markley always made great sounding guitar amps. |

This picture brings back memories. I bought a similar amp about thirty years ago. It was rated at eighty Watts. There was also a forty Watt version.
I vaguely remember that this amp had two distortion channels and a button that you can mash for a clean channel.
I recall the amp and reverb sounded alright, however the clean channel is too weak for steel guitar on a live stage without some sound re-enforcement.
It took over a year and reducing the price several times for me to sell mine at a local music store. |

This one is rated at 100W with a 12" speaker. I'm not sure about the tube pre. There are schematics online but I can't tell anything from them. I'm still a little unsure though. Maybe I can talk them down to $100. _________________ Shobud "The Professional" D-10, Stage One S-10, National "New Yorker," NV400 |
