I saw these speakers, Kustom (Eminence) Turbo 12" Guitar Speakers on closeout at Parts Express (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=299-407) so picked up a pair of the 8 ohm ones. I'll build my own cabinet and mount them in parallel and use them as an extension speaker for my Roland Cube 80XL.
These speakers were originally used in a Kustom amp and a Kustom Cabinet Coupe 212

I found some product pages (street price near $600)and will use the dimensions as a guide for building mine!

Anyone ever heard one of these amps or cabinets? I hope it will do a decent job, but one never knows. I sure hope I can make it look this good and sound as good as it looks!

Pete,
I'm sure glad you clarified your posting. I looked at the heading and thought to myself: "If he builds that cabinet out of 2 x 12's it sure is going to be heavy!" Very Happy

Good one Erv! It's still gonna be heavier than I want it to be, even without the 2x12's!! Oh Well
