Yeah, that whole album was cool. I bought it years ago, still have my vinyl copy. Was expecting his usual blues stuff - you know, Gangster of Love and all that - but it was all old standards done old-school and very cool.

Honestly, Johnny was about the most versatile & badass blues guy on the planet. For old-school blues, The Gangster of Love is as good as it gets, and nobody could out-funk Johnny. A real mother for ya', for sure.

Yep, just spun tunes for a party this past weekend for about 10 hours and "Ain't that a Bit__" was one of 'em.

He's only playing piano on it - no guitar - but it really swings and his singing is grand.
