Metal.neck shobuds sound awesome. Wish I had the $ . Someone 's gonna get a great playing /sounding guitar for a good price. A tad heavy but worth the carry. Weight = tone...

Mike, Those pictures a prefessional quality! They are as good as what you would see in a sales brochure or cataloge. I'd bet it plays as good as it looks.

I have to say that this Bud is one of the nicest guitars I've seen. I remember pictures of the black PRO III in the ShoBud catalogue back in the 80's and could only dream. Now 30 years later I've got a used guitar and I'm finally learning how to play. I'd keep her if I were you Smile

Wow, I thought my Pro III with birds-eye was beautiful (well I still think it is) but that black lacquer finish is absolutely killer!

The Pro 3 came stock with metal necks. That is the difference between a Pro 2 and a Pro 3

This guitar is stunning!!! If I had the bucks, this would be on it's way to my house.

This Bud looks really nice.

I own a black lacquer 1975 Emmons PP in the same excellent condition. Black lacquer guitars in new finish condition, have a shine that no mica guitar is going to match. The metal necks, polished end plates and key heads just "stand out" against the shiny black background.

This Bud and my Emmons would look great sitting side by side in my music room but I already own too many guitars.

I once owned an early 80's red Pro 3 Bud and it was a really great sounding guitar. This Bud will be a really nice guitar for some new owner.
