In an effort to stop finger pick slippage, I've always had to tighten the bands to the point where it causes hangnail or cuticle pain.

Being an avid shooter, I noticed a lot of guys at the shooting range putting "skateboard tape" on their pistol handgrips to give them better purchase and less slippage. So I thought I'd put a little piece on the inside of the pick blade and test it out.

So far, it seems to work.........The picks stay on with the bands loosened. The tape doesn't cause any "loss of pick feel" and it's a lot much more comfortable. The picture has a shadow across the back tape edge making it look kind of thick, but it's actually fairly thin.

That looks like a great idea Tony, thanks so much for posting. Will be checking the local skateboard shop for some on Monday!
