1969 Gibson J50, with hard case, these came with the ceramic adjustable bridge from the factory, good concept but did not work and robbed them of tone, so I had my luthier fill in the slot with rosewood, and re slot and place a proper bridge saddle ,definitely an upgrade...1750.00

Thanks, I'll pass that along to my luthier, I feel it is better to do the retro-repair this way on these bridges rather than replace the whole bridge.

I believe the J 50 is what was used to record "Melissa" by the Allman Bros.
