I can’t speak for anyone else but I plan on asking them if they would like to join our little club that meets once a month and then correspond over the net in between meetings (yes you can text me)
We’ll be out in the country studio and out doors when the weather permits.
We’ll just make ourselves home in the den, on Xbox, snacking in the kitchen and dinning room, in the studio or just enjoying the trees and the breeze.
We will have great guest pickers and/or speakers most of the time. (if they are dirt cheap or freebee)
Most of all the learning is going to be fun.
Everyone is going to have their own BIAB, TablEdit, spreadsheet and learn how to use them.
Hey guys and gals how about iPod, iPad and iPhone on your shared PC or Mac. Please don’t let this interfere with your Xbox time in anyway.
Hard core technique is going to be a must including a heavy dose of Pick Blocking Plus.
Hard core ear training through common Jazz and Blues chord progressions in triplet triads with embellishments (yes we are talking Hendrix and fun with intervals here)
An agonizing amount of Theory Homework (don’t worry you’ll love showing it off and talking down to those Strat and Tele ignoramuses) .
We will record everything so don’t go bragging about how great you’ve learned to play in just a couple of meetings (we’ll have the evidence).
Oh I forgot to mention, you are welcome with or without tattoos. |

That's a fun joke perhaps, Stuart, but that is pretty much what is happening out here on the left edge. Bob Muller hosts a steel-centric gathering every other week at his home's large music room and players of all ages and abilities are showing up to jam and learn. Steel guitar is thriving amongst the younger set here in wierd old Po'tland... |

We are under construction right now but I took some pictures last nite while I was out there.
This is the side entrance and you come into a long scary hall at nite.
As you enter the hall the doors to the right are to the studio and to your left is the bedrooms and baths and exercise room.
as you travel a little farther down the hall you will enter into what would be Bo's favorite the Break Room.
Side entrance:
Scary Hall from the side entrance. A ghost paces up and down this Hall at nite.
The Break Room.
Every thing is just too piled up to show the rest right now. |

We’re really out in the country here. First a person is going to have to get by the bears, coyotes, bats, snakes and ten million verities of no-see-um insects before the dog gets his chance.
Besides the hall ghost keeps the dog in line.
Thank you for your good advice. I’m certain that everything is going to be OK with the insurance coverage. Between the Agent and the lawyer I'm sure they will keep us up to speed on all that and the appropriate measures will be taken when we get up to speed here. |
